Adventurous video game “Game of Thrones” is based on the A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin and HBO’s award-winning television drama, Game of Thrones – A Telltale Games Series is a six part episodic game series set in the world of HBO’s tells the story of House Forrester, a noble house from the north of Westeros.
The story focuses on House Forrester and revolves around the northern House of Forrester, rulers of the Ironwood, whose members, including the five playable characters, attempt to do everything they can to prevent the house from meeting its doom, to save their family and themselves after ending up on the losing side of the War of the Five Kings.
The game primarily takes places near the Ironwood, but also in other locations on the continents of Westeros and Essos. The players are able to move their character around some scenes, interacting with objects and also initiating conversation trees with non-player characters.
The player controls one of five family members or servants of the Forresters. ‘Iron from Ice’ is the Forrester house words that echoes their belief that – like the Ironwood itself – they will be stronger only by the adverse conditions and unforgiving landscape of the North.
Gregor Forrester famously arm-wrestled Galbert Glover. According to Glover it was the luckiest defeat of his life as Gregor was a talented warrior. After his father died at the Trident, Gregor ascended to the lordship, marrying Lady Elissa Branfield at the behest of King Robert and had six children.
There are Thirteen original playable and non-playable characters in the game, including-
The first-born son of the House and its heir, with a prominent military background
Mira Forrester : The eldest daughter of the House, who serves as a handmaiden to Margaery Tyrell. She is one of the five playable characters.
Asher Forrester: he second-born son of the House who has been exiled to Essos.
Talia Forrester: The second-eldest daughter, who is gifted with a talented voice.
Ethan Forrester: Talia’s twin, the third-born son, a scholarly boy. He is one of the five playable characters.
Ryon Forrester: The youngest son of the House.
Gared Tuttle: Squire to Lord Forrester and nephew to Duncan. He is one of the five playable characters.
Duncan Tuttle: A good friend of Lord Forrester whom he now serves as castellan.
Maester ortengryn: A Maester of the Citadel serving House Forrester.
Malcolm Branfield: Brother of Lady Forrester and, with her, the only surviving members of House Branfeld.
Ser Royland Degore: An experienced military leader that serves as the master-at-arms for the House.
There are also other characters from the novels and TV series and voice work is performed by the series’s actors, including Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer), and Ramsay Snow (Iwan Rheon).

Episode 4 – “Sons of Winter”
Episode 5 – “A Nest of Vipers”
Episode 6 – “The Ice Dragon”
It is opined by George R. R. Martin that he wanted “a Game of Thrones game to be made by a studio that knows how to create a thrilling and interesting story” as previous video games based on his works received overwhelmingly negative or mediocre critical responses. And in December 2013, Telltale announced the Game of Thrones title at the 2013 Spike VGX video game awards program
